أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ السَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنكَرَ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ

(29/29) Will you come to the males and intercept and commit shameful deeds (obscenities) in your assemblies? But nothing was the answer of his people except that they said: “Bring on us Allah’s torment if you are one of the truthful”.
