وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَلَبِثَ فِيهِمْ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ إِلَّا خَمْسِينَ عَامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطُّوفَانُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ

(29/14) And certainly We sent Noah (Nuh) to his people (as a messenger). So he remained among them a fifty years less than thousand years (950 years). Then the Deluge overtook them. And they were wrong-doers.
