وَمَا كَانَ صَلاَتُهُمْ عِندَ الْبَيْتِ إِلاَّ مُكَاء وَتَصْدِيَةً فَذُوقُواْ الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ

(8/35) And their prayer before the House (of Allah) was nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. Taste then the torment because of what you used to deny.
