وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُون

(21/41) And certainly Messengers before you were scoffed at (too), and then those who were scoffing at them were encompassed by what they were scoffing at.
