فَمَن يُرِدِ اللّهُ أَن يَهْدِيَهُ يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَهُ لِلإِسْلاَمِ وَمَن يُرِدْ أَن يُضِلَّهُ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّمَاء كَذَلِكَ يَجْعَلُ اللّهُ الرِّجْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ

سورة الأنعام
(6/125) And whomsoever Allah wills to deliver to Himself He slits and opens his breast for submission (Islam). And whomsoever He wills to leave in Misguidance, He makes his breast strait and narrow as if he were ascending to the sky. Thus does Allah lay filth (torment, difficulty, narrowness) on those who do not believe.
