وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السَّبِيلَا

(33/67) And those who are in hell say: “Our Lord! We surely obeyed our notables (in religion) and our great ones (in administration) so we strayed away from Your Way (Sıratı Mustakîm)”.
