(33/53) O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are living)! Do not enter the Prophet’s houses unless permission is given to you! (If you have entered them) do not wait (taking your time) for a meal to be prepared. But enter when you are invited. When you have eaten your food, disperse immediately and do not linger for conversation, nor keep with your conversation (talk without permission). Surely this was causing annoyance to the Prophet but he was feeling shy of you. Allah is not shy of (telling you) the truth. When you ask of them (the wives of the Prophet) anything, ask of them from behind a curtain. This is purer for your and their hearts. It cannot be (lawful) for you that you to annoy the Messenger of Allah and after this for you to marry his wives forever. Surely this is an enormous sin in the Sight of Allah.
