(39/32) Then who does more wrong then one who utters a lie against Allah and denies the truth (of reaching Allah before death) when it comes to him? Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers? (39/33) And he who comes with the truth (who calls others to make a wish to reach Allah) and he who confirmed it (those who wish to reach Allah before death), they are the owners of piety. (39/34) All that they wished are for them in the presence of their Lord. This is the reward of the Muhsinûn (good-doers). (39/35) Allah covers even the worst of what they did (their sins) and gives them their reward for the best of what they have done (changes their evil deeds into merits). (39/36) Is not Allah Sufficient for His servant? And they seek to frighten you with those besides Him (with other gods, idols). Whomsoever Allah leaves in Misguidance, there is no one to give him Hidayet (Mahdi) for him. (39/37) And whomever Allah delivers to Hidayet, there is none that can make him fall into Misguidance. Is not Allah All-Mighty, Possessor of Revenge? (39/38) And assuredly, if you should ask them: “Who created the heavens and the earth”, they would most certainly say: “Allah”. Say: “Have you then seen what you called upon besides Allah”? If Allah willed some harm for me, could they remove His harm? Or if Allah willed some Mercy for me, could they withhold His mercy, they trust in Him (take Him as a surrogate). (39/39) Say: “O my people! Work in your place (do your best, wherever you are)! Surely I will too. So you will come to know soon”. (39/40) To whom comes a disgracing torment and on whom descends a lasting torment. (39/41) Surely, We have sent down to you the Book for the mankind with the truth. So whoever reaches Hidayet, it is for his own soul and whoever remains in Misguidance, he is in Misguidance against himself. And you are not a surrogate upon them. (39/42) Allah causes the physical bodies to die at the time of death. And those who are in their sleep, they are not dead, then He retains the one who will be decreed to die (the physical body of the person in the state of sleep) and sends the other (the soul) till an appointed term (wherever it desires to go in a dream). Most surely there are signs (lessons) in this for a people who reflect. (39/43) Or have they taken intercessors besides Allah? Say: “Even if they have power over nothing whatsoever and are not mindful”? (39/44) Say: “Allah’s is the intercession altogether. The dominion of the heavens and the earth is His. Then to Him you shall be brought back”. (39/45) And when Allah’s Oneness is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter (in reaching Allah before death) get shivered with hatred. When those besides Him are mentioned, they rejoice. (39/46) Say: “O My Allah! You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, All-Knower of the Unseen and the Seen! You will judge between your servants about that in which they used to differ”. (39/47) And if the wrong-doers had all that is in the earth and the like of it with it, they would certainly offer it as ransom (to be saved) from the evil of the torment on the Day of Resurrection. And there will become apparent to them from Allah what they had not been reckoning. (39/48) And the evil (sins and bad deeds) of what they earned became obvious to them and the very thing (the torment) they mocked at surrounded them. (39/49) When harm touches a man, he calls upon Us. Then, when We send him a blessing from Us, he says: “I have been given this only because of a knowledge”. Nay, it is a trial, but most of them do not know. (39/50) Those before them also did say (the very same thing) indeed, but whatever they earned did not benefit them. (39/51) So the evil (sins, bad deeds) touched them. And those who did wrong of those, the evil of what they earn will soon touch them, and they do not have the power to prevent the torment. (39/52) Do they not know that Allah enlarges the sustenance for whom He wills, and straitens for whom He wills? Most surely there are Sings in this for a people who believe. (39/53) Say: “O My servants who have acted extravagantly (crossed the line) against their own souls! Do not despair of the Mercy of Allah. Surely Allah forgives (changes into rewards) the sins altogether. He surely, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (the One that sends the Glorious light of Mercy). (39/54) And turn to your Lord (wish to make your spirit reach Allah while you are alive)! And submit to Him (Allah) (submit your spirit, your physical body, your soul and your free will to Allah) before the torment comes upon you, then (otherwise) you will not be helped. (39/55) And follow (depend on) the best of that (the order) which is sent down to you from your Lord, before the torment comes on you suddenly while you do not even perceive! (39/56) (Don’t be) a person who should say: “O woe to me, for all that in which I have exceeded the limit concerning my going away from Allah, and I was indeed of those who mocked”. (39/57) Or (don’t be one of those who) shall say: “If Allah had delivered me to Hidayet, I would certainly have been of those who are the owners of piety”. (39/58) Or (don’t be one of those who) should say when he sees the torment: “If only I had another chance, then I should indeed be of the Muhsinûn (good-doers)”. (39/59) But, My Verses had come to you, yet you belied them, and you were proud and you were of the disbelievers. (39/60) And on the Day of Resurrection you see the faces of those who lied against Allah blackened. Is there not in Hell an abode for the proud? (39/61) And Allah saves those who have piety because of being the owners of Feyz (because the light of calmness has reached them). Evil (torment) does not touch them, nor do they grieve. (39/62) Allah is the Creator of everything and He is a Surrogate over all things. (39/63) His are the treasures of the heavens and the earth. Those who disbelieve in the Verses of Allah, these it is that are in Loss (Husrân). (39/64) Say: “O you ignorant ones! Do you order me to become a servant to something other than Allah”? (39/65) And certainly it has been revealed to you and to those before you: “Surely if you associate (if you do not wish to reach Allah before death), all your deeds would certainly be rendered vain, and you would certainly be of those who fall into a Loss. (39/66) Therefore, now become a servant to Allah! And be of the grateful. (39/67) And they could not esteem Allah as He has the right to be esteemed. The whole earth is in His grip (control) on the Day of Resurrection and the skies will have been rolled up in His Hand. Glory be to Him. And He is exalted above what they associate (with Him). (39/68) And the Trumpet had been blown, all those who are in the skies and all those who are on the earth had been passed away, except those Allah willed. Then when it (Trumpet) is blown again, they look around, standing. (39/69) And the earth is enlightened with the Light of your Lord, and the book is laid down. The prophets and the witnesses are brought forward, and the judgment is given between them with justice without any wrong-doing. (39/70) And every soul (individual) is paid back fully what he has done, and He knows best what they do. (39/71) And those who disbelieved are driven to Hell in groups. When they come to it, its (hell’s) doors open and the keepers of it (hell) say to them: “Did not Messengers of your own come to you, reciting (reading and explaining) to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of yours”? They (people of hell) said: “Yes (they did come)”, but the Word of torment has been justified upon the disbelievers. (39/72) It was said (to them): “Enter through the Gates of hell to abide therein forever”! So evil is the Abode of the arrogant! (39/73) And those who are the owners of piety towards their Lord (after having seen hell) get conveyed to heaven in groups. When they come to it (heaven), its (heaven’s) doors open, and the keepers of it (heaven) say to them: “Peace be on you, you have been cleared (exonerated), enter it (heaven) to abide forever. (39/74) And the people of heaven said: “Praise is due to Allah, Who has been loyal to His Promise. And has made us inherit this land (in heaven). We can dwell in heaven where ever we will”. How excellent the reward for the doers (of improving deeds)! (39/75) And you see the angels surrounding ‘beyond existence’, glorify their Lord with His Praise. And judgment was given between them (people of heaven) with justice. And it was said (by the people of heaven): “All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds”.

Ghafir
(40/1) Hâ, Mîm. (40/2) The bringing down of the Book is from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. (40/3) (He is) the Forgiver of sins, the Acceptor of repentance, the Severe in punishment, the Owner of Blessings, Virtue and Generosity. There is no god but He. To Him is the return. (40/4) None disputes in the Verses of Allah but those who disbelieve. So let not their revolving around in the cities deceive you. (40/5) Before them the people of Noah and after them (other) parties denied (their Messengers). And every nation attacked to seize their Messenger. They disputed by means of the falsehood that they might thereby render null the truth. Finally I seized them. How was My punishment then? (40/6) Thus has the Word of your Lord been justified against those who disbelieved, that ‘truly they are the companions of Fire’. (40/7) Angels who bear the ‘Non-existence’ and the one (the Imam of the Time) around it glorify their Lord with praise and believe in Him. And ask forgiveness (from Allah) for those who believe (who are Amenû, who wish to reach Allah while they are alive): “Our Lord, You surrounded everything in (Your) Mercy and Knowledge. So forgive those who repent (before their Murshids, religious guides) and follow your Path Way (Sıratı Mustakîm). Preserve them from the torment of hell”! (40/8) Our Lord, include those who have attained to the level of total Improvement amongst their fathers and their wives and their offspring in the Gardens of Eden which You have promised them. Surely You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise (Owner of judgment). (40/9) Keep them from evil. And whom you keep from evil deeds on the Day of Permission, then indeed You have Mercy on them, and that is the Mighty Salvation. (40/10) Surely those who disbelieve shall be cried out to (shall be told): “Certainly Allah’s Anger is greater towards you than your anger towards your souls (one another). When you were called to the Faith but you used to refuse”. (40/11) (The disbelievers) said: “Our Lord, You have made us die twice and You have resurrected us twice, so we confessed our sins. Then, is there any way to get out (from here)”? (40/12) This is because, when you were called to Allah, you disbelieved, and when associates were given to Him, you believed. So the judgment belongs to Allah, the Most High, the Greatest. (40/13) (Allah) it is Who shows you His Verses and sends down for you sustenance from the heaven. None considers this but he who is Munib (the one who turned to Allah). (40/14) Therefore invite to Allah, making the Religion pure for Him, even if the disbelievers may detest. (40/15) Allah Who raises the ranks and Who is the Owner of the ‘Non-existence’ sends a spirit (the spirit of the Imam of the Time that will convey the Command of Allah) by His Command onto any of His servants (the heads of His servants that He wishes to deliver to Himself)) He wills (since he wishes to reach Allah, Allah also wishes to make him reach Himself) in order to warn (the spirit of that servant) of the Day to reach Allah. (40/16) The Day when they become obvious, nothing of them will be hidden from Allah. Whose is the Dominion on that Day? It is Allah’s, the One, the Punisher. (40/17) This Day every soul is punished or rewarded for what it has earned. This Day, there is no injustice. Surely Allah is Swift in reckoning. (40/18) And warn them of the Day (Doomsday) that draws near. Then the hearts rise up to the throats in terror. There is no compassionate friend or an intercessor for the wrong-doers whose intersession should be accepted. (40/19) (Allah) knows the treachery of the eyes and that which the bosoms conceal. (40/20) And Allah judges with the truth. Those whom they called upon besides Him cannot judge anything. Surely Allah; He is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. (40/21) Have they not travelled in the earth and seen how was the end of those who were before them? They are superior to them in strength and in the works of art in the land. But Allah seized (killed) them for their sins, and there was none to save them from Allah. (40/22) This is because there came to them their Messengers with the clear signs, but they disbelieved (in them). So Allah seized them. Verily He is All-Strong, severe in punishment. (40/23) And certainly We sent Moses with Our Verses and clear Sultan (proof, miracle, and Book). (40/24) (We sent) to Pharaoh and Hâmân and Korah (Qârûn) but they said: “A belying magician”. (40/25) So when he came to them with truth from Our Presence, they said: “(Slay) kill the sons of those who believe (who are Amenû) along with them and keep their women alive”! The plot of the disbelievers is nothing but Misguidance! (40/26) And Pharaoh said: “Leave me to kill Moses, and let him call upon his Lord. Surely I fear that he will change your religion or that he will make mischief to appear in the land”. (40/27) And Moses said: “Surely I take refuge with my Lord and your Lord as well, from every proud one who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning”! (40/28) And a believing man of Pharaoh's family, who used to keep his faith hidden, said: “Will you kill a man merely because he says: ‘My Lord is Allah’? And he has come to you with the clear signs (proofs) from your Lord. If he is a liar, on him will be his lie, and if he is truthful, some of which he threatens you will certainly befall you. Surely Allah does not deliver the one to Hidayet who is a liar, the one who crosses the line”. (40/29) (That man said): “O my people! Yours is the dominion this day, you are powerful in the land. But who will help us against the severe torment of Allah if it comes to us”? Pharaoh said: “What I show you is only my opinion and I guide you to nowhere but the path of Irshad (Absolute Salvation)”. (40/30) And he who believed said: “O my people, surely I fear for you the like of the day of the factions (of those who were separated into parties)”! (40/31) Like the case of the people of Noah and Âd, and Thamûd and those who came after them. And Allah does not will torment for His servants. (40/32) And, O my people, I fear for you the Day of Scream (Doomsday)! (40/33) The Day on which you will turn your back retreating; there shall be no savior for you from Allah. Whomsoever Allah leaves in Misguidance, then there is no person of Hidayet (the one who will make him reach Allah) for him. (40/34) And certainly Joseph (Yûsuf) came to you before with clear proofs. But you did not cease to doubt in that which he brought to you. Even when (he) was ruined, you said: “Allah will never raise a Messenger after him”. Allah leaves in Misguidance those who cross the line, who are doubtful. (40/35) They dispute about the Verses of Allah even though no authority (proof) came to them. Anger became great by Allah and by those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death). This is how Allah seals up the heart of every arrogant, tyrant (not to be opened anymore). (40/36) And Pharaoh said: “O Hâmân! Build for me a high tower, that I may attain the reasons (the ways)”. (40/37) “(I may reach) the reasons (the ways of) to the heavens, so that I may reach the God of Moses. I surely think him to be a liar”. And thus his evil deed was made fair-seeming to Pharaoh, and he was turned away from the Way. And the plot of Pharaoh was nothing but loss. (40/38) And he who believed said: “O my people! Depend on (follow) me, so that I will guide you to the Way of Irshad (Absolute Salvation)”. (40/39) O my people! The life of this world is only a (temporary) enjoyment, and surely the Hereafter is the place to settle forever. (40/40) Whoever does an evil deed (that decreases the positive degrees), he shall not be recompensed but the like of it. Whoever does an improving deed (the soul's cleansing, the deeds that improve the soul), whether male or female, they are the believers (whose faith ever grow). They shall be put in heaven and shall be given sustenance without measure. (40/41) And, O my people! How is it that I call you to the Salvation and you call me to the Fire! (40/42) You call me to disbelieve in Allah and associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge. And I call you to the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving (Allah)! (40/43) No doubt that what you call me to has no validity. It (the idol) does not have an invitation (authority) in this world or in the Hereafter either. Certainly our turning back is to Allah, and the extravagant are verily the inmates of the Fire. (40/44) So you shall remember (understand) what I said to you, and I entrust my affair to Allah. Surely Allah is All-Seeing of His servants. (40/45) So Allah protected him from the evils that they plotted and an evil torment encompassed Pharaoh's family. (40/46) That is the Fire that they are exposed to it, morning and evening. And on the Day when the Hour shall come to pass (it is said): “Make Pharaoh's family enter the severest torment”! (40/47) And, when they argue one another in the Fire, the weak say to those who were arrogant: “Surely we followed (dependent on) you. Can you now avert from us our portion of the Fire”? (40/48) Those who were proud said: “Surely we are all in it (fire). Surely Allah has judged between His servants”. (40/49) And those who are in the Fire said to the keepers of Hell: “Call upon your Lord that He may lighten to us one day of the Torment”. (40/50) (The keepers of hell) said: “Did not your Messengers come to you with the clear proofs”? They said: “Yes”. (The hell keepers) said: “Then you call (beg)”. The call of the disbelievers is only in Misguidance (error). (40/51) Most surely We will help Our Messengers and those who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are alive) in the life of the world and on the Day when the witnesses stand up. (40/52) The Day on which their excuse shall not benefit the wrong-doers, for them is the Curse and for them is the evil abode. (40/53) And certainly We gave Moses the Hidayet and We made the Children of Israel inherit the Book. (40/54) As a Hidayet and a Reminder (Dhikr) for ûli'l elbâb (the owners of continuous Dhikr, the secret treasures of Allah). (40/55) Therefore have patience. Surely the Promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness for your sins. Glorify your Lord morning and evening with His praise. (40/56) Surely those who dispute about the Verses of Allah without any Sultan (authority) that has come to them, there is nothing else in their bosoms except pride which they shall never attain to (Allah). Therefore seek refuge in Allah; surely, it is He Who is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. (40/57) Certainly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of the human, and yet most people do not know. (40/58) And the blind and the seeing are not equal, nor those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (the soul's cleansing), and the evil-doers either. How little is it that you think! (40/59) Most surely the Hour will come that there is no doubt therein, and yet most of mankind do not believe. (40/60) And our Lord said: “Call upon Me, that I shall answer you. Surely those who are too proud of becoming My servant shall enter hell abased and disgraced”. (40/61) Allah is He Who made for you the night that you may rest therein and the day to see (luminous). Most surely Allah is the owner of Virtue upon mankind. And yet, most of mankind do not give thanks. (40/62) That is Allah, your Lord. The Creator of all things. There is no god but He. How, then, are you made to turn away? (40/63) Thus are turned away those who deny the Verses of Allah knowingly, stubbornly. (40/64) Allah is He Who made for you the earth as a dwelling-place and constructed the sky, and He fashioned you. Then made your shapes beautiful, and He provided you with clean things. Therefore this Allah is your Lord. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! (40/65) He is the Ever Living (Alive), there is no god but He. Therefore call on Him, making the Religion pure for Him. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! (40/66) Say: “Verily I am forbidden to become a servant to those whom you call upon besides Allah because clear proofs have come to me from my Lord, and I am commanded that I should submit to the Lord of the Worlds (that I should submit my spirit, physical body, soul and free will to Allah). (40/67) He it is Who created you from dust. Then from a drop (of sperm), then from an Alak (a drop which is clung to the wall of the uterus). Then He brings you forth as a child, then that you may attain your full strength, then that you may get old. And of you there are some who are caused to die before getting old. And (for some of) you to reach an appointed term. And it is hoped that you may use your intelligence. (40/68) He it is Who gives life and causes death. When He decrees an affair, He only says to it: “Be”! And it is, immediately. (40/69) Have you not seen those who disputed about the Verses of Allah? How are they turned away? (40/70) They belied the Book and that with which We have sent Our Messengers. But they shall soon come to know. (40/71) They shall be dragged along with the fetters and the chains on their necks. (40/72) They will be put into the boiling water, then in the Fire shall they be burned. (40/73) Then they are told: “Where are those which you used to set up as partners”? (40/74) Besides Allah. (The people of hell) say: “They are gone away from us. Nay, (it seems that) we did not worship anything before”. Thus does Allah leave the disbelievers in Misguidance. (40/75) This is because you were extravagant and insolent in the earth without any right. (40/76) Enter through the gates of Hell to stay in it forever. How evil then is the abode of the arrogant. (40/77) So have patience, surely the Promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We promised them with, or should We cause you to die (before), to Us shall they be returned at the end. (40/78) And certainly We sent Messengers before you (too). Some of them We have related to you their story and some We have not related to you their story. It is not fit for a Messenger that he should bring a Verse except with Allah's Permission. When the Command of Allah comes, the judgment is given with truth. And those who followed the falsehood then incurred Loss (Husrân). (40/79) Allah is He Who created animals for you that ‘you may ride on some of them, and some of them you eat’. (40/80) And there are benefits for you in them (animals), and that you may attain (the place that you will go) thereon a wish which is in your hearts. Upon them (animals) and upon the ships you are carried. (40/81) And (Allah) shows you His Signs. Then which of Allah's Verses are you denying? (40/82) Have they not then travelled in the earth? They should see how was the end of those before them? They were more numerous and stronger in might and in the works of art in the land, but what they used to earn did not avail them in anything. (40/83) When their Messenger came to them with the clear proofs, they exulted in what they had with them of knowledge. And what they used to mock surrounded them. (40/84) When they saw Our severe punishment, they said: “We believed in Allah and His Oneness and we denied what we used to associate with Him (as His partners)”. (40/85) But their belief did not profit them when they had seen Our severe punishment. This is Allah's standing Practice (Law), in dealing with His servants. There the disbelievers incurred Loss (Husrân).

Fussilat
(41/1) Hâ, Mîm. (41/2) Sent down by the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful (Allah). (41/3) A Book of which the Verses are explained in detail, a Qur'ân in Arabic for a people who know. (41/4) As a herald of good news and a warner. But most of them have turned away. So they no longer hear. (41/5) And they said: “Our hearts are under coverings (to prevent us from comprehension) from that, to which you call us, and there is heaviness in our ears, and a veil hangs between us and you. So do (whatever you want)! We too are the ones who will do whatever we want”. (41/6) Say: “I am only a human being like you are. It is being revealed to me that your Deity is only One Deity. Therefore direct yourself to Him (turn to Him) and ask for forgiveness from Him. And woe to the associators (those who associate others with Him)”. (41/7) They do not give alms (Zakât). And they, they deny the hereafter (having their spirits reach Allah while they are alive). (41/8) As for those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (the soul's cleansing), there is surely a continuous reward. (41/9) Say: “Do you indeed disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two Days? And do you set up equals with Him? That is the Lord of the Worlds”. (41/10) And there, He made on it firm mountains. And He blessed therein with abundance. Measured therein their foods (sustenance) in four Days, equally for the seekers. (41/11) Then He directed towards the sky that was a smoke. Then (He) said to it (the sky) and the earth: “Come both of you willingly or unwillingly”. They both said: “We came willingly”. (41/12) So He ordained (created) them seven layers in two Days. Revealed in every layer its command. And We adorned the skies of earth guarding with lamps. This is the Decree of the All-Mighty, All-Knowing (Allah). (41/13) If they still turn their faces, then say: “I have warned you of a thunderbolt, like the thunderbolt of Âd and Thamûd”. (41/14) When their Messengers came to them from before them and from behind (after) them, for them not to become servants to anything but Allah, they said: “If our Lord had willed, He would certainly have sent down angels. Therefore we are the ones who surely deny which you are sent with”. (41/15) But the people of Âd became arrogant without a right in the land, and they said: “Who is mightier in strength than we”? Did they not see that Allah Who created them is mightier than they are, in strength? And they were denying our Verses knowingly, stubbornly. (41/16) Upon that, We sent on them a furious cold storm that comes with a violent sound in unlucky days, that We may make them taste the torment of abasement in the life of this world. And certainly the torment of the Hereafter is much more abasing, and they shall not be helped. (41/17) And as to (people of) Thamûd, We have then delivered them to Hidayet. Yet, they preferred blindness towards Hidayet. Therefore a thunderbolt of an abasing torment seized them because of what they used to earn. (41/18) And We saved those who believed (those who wished to reach Allah while they were alive) and thus they had become the owners of piety. (41/19) And on that Day, the enemies of Allah are gathered together to the Fire, so they (the ones before and after them) are brought together. (41/20) Even when they came to it (to the Fire), their eyes, ears and skins (extremities) borne witness against them (in their life films) as to what they used to do. (41/21) And they said to their own skins (extremities): “Why have you borne witness against us”? (They) said: “Allah Who makes everything speak has made us speak. He created you at first, and to Him you shall be brought back”. (41/22) And you were not afraid that your ears, eyes and skins (extremities) to bear witness against you. And but you thought that Allah did not know most of what you were doing. (41/23) And that assumption of yours about your Lord has tumbled you down into perdition, so you became of those who have fallen into Loss. (41/24) Then if they can endure, now the Fire is the abode for them, and if they seek to be pardoned, they are not of those who will be pardoned. (41/25) And We have assigned for them intimate companions who have made fair-seeming to them, what is before them and what is behind them (what they have done and what they would do). The Word (of torment) proved true among the nations of the jinn and the men that have passed away before them. Surely they are the ones who have fallen into Loss. (41/26) And those who disbelieved said: “Do not listen to this Qur'ân, make noise therein (during its recitation), perhaps you may be victorious”. (41/27) Therefore We will most certainly make those who disbelieve taste a severe torment, and We will most certainly punish them for the worst of what they used to do. (41/28) The punishment of the enemies of Allah is the Fire. There is for them the eternal home as a fit punishment for that they used to deny our Verses knowingly. (41/29) And those who disbelieved said: “Our Lord, show us those who led us astray from among the jinn and the men that we trample them under our feet so that they may be of the lowest”. (41/30) As for those who say: “Our Lord is Allah”, then take a direction (turn to Allah and maintain the Religion), the angels descend upon them (saying): “Do not fear, nor grieve! And rejoice in the good news of heaven which you were promised”. (41/31) We are your friends in this world and in the Hereafter. Therein is (every) thing for you what your souls desire and what you ask for. (41/32) As a treat (offering) from the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful (Allah). (41/33) And who is better in speech than he who calls to Allah and do improving deed (the soul's purification) and says: “I am surely of those who is submitted (to Allah)”? (41/34) And the good deed and the evil deed are not equal. Repel (evil) with what is best. Then the one whom you had enmity in between becomes as if he were a compassionate friend. (41/35) And none are made to attain that (to be able to repel evil with what is best) but those who are patient, and the owners of Great Happiness. (41/36) And certainly an incitement will come to you from Satan. Then seek refuge in Allah. Surely, He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (41/37) And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate yourselves to the sun and the moon. If you became servants to Him (Allah), prostrate yourselves to Allah Who created them. (41/38) But if they are still too proud, (they shall know that) those who are in your Lord's Presence glorify Him the night and the day, and they are never bored. (41/39) And from among His Signs is that you see the earth dry. When We send down on it the water, it moves and swells. Most surely (Allah) Who gives it (earth) life is the Giver of life to the dead. Surely He is Omnipotent. (41/40) Verily those who distort Our Verses are not hidden from Us. Are those then who are cast into the Fire better, or those who come to Us secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do what you wish; surely He is the All-Seer of what you do. (41/41) Surely they denied the Reminder (the Qur'ân) when it came to them, and most surely it is a Mighty (Honorable) Book. (41/42) Falsehood cannot come to it from before and behind it. (It is) sent down by the All-Wise, the All-Praised One. (41/43) What is said to you is no different than what was said to the ones before you. Surely your Lord is the Owner of Forgiveness, and painful torment. (41/44) And if We had made it (the Book) in a foreign language, they would certainly have said: “Should not its verses be explained”! A foreign language for an Arab? Say: “It is Hidayet and a Healing to those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah while they are alive), and there is heaviness in the ears of those who do not believe. It (the Qur'ân) is a blindness for them (not a Hidayet or Healing). They are called from a place far away. (41/45) And certainly We gave a Book to Moses, but they have differed about it. If a Word had not already gone forth from your Lord, the judgment would certainly have been given between them (right away). And most surely they are the ones who are in an absolute doubt about it. (41/46) Whoever does an improving deed (the soul's cleansing), it is for his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is against him. And your Lord is never tormenting to (His) servants.
